On 26 January 2020 India celebrates its 71st Republic day. Asha niketan school for the deaf joins the entire nation to celebrate this auspicious occasion with great vigor and enthusiasm.
Commemorating and respecting the national heritage of our country asha niketan school for the deaf celebrates republic day with great zeal and patriotism.J.N Kansotiya the Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice Department was the chief guest for this occasion who hoisted the national flag which was followed by national anthem in sign language. Thereafter the students led the entire assembly with traditional march fast to the school hall for a short cultural programme. Students performed their dances so well that one could hardly differentiate these students have hearing deficiency. Chief Guest greatly appreciated and congratulated the teachers for doing such noble job in empowering and uplifting the differently able children. Students who excelled in academic and other co-curricular activities were endowed and honored by the chief guest. Lastly Sr.Sunanda the principal of the school proposed the vote of thanks, appreciated the cultural committee and other teachers for their hard work and commited service to the institution.
