An awareness programme was orgnaised on the occasion of Human Trafficking day on 8th Feb. 2018, for the students of Junior College of St. Joseph’s Convent School, Nagpur.
A short prayer service was conducted by the students to allow God to take hold of their lives. Various activities like preparation of posters on the theme, essay and speech competition brought great conscienceness and enthusiasm in the students.
Mrs. Manisha Mahatme,lecturer of the same college and the resource person on this occasion shared about her expertise and knowledge of human trafficking. The students were emotionally moved and one of them commented, “Dignity to human life should be essential and an important requirement in society.”
