There’s a vaccine for the deadly corona virus! Isn’t it good news? Yes, it’s indeed good news. Cause this virus has spread all over the world. The pandemic caused a lot of suffering to people all over. Millions of people lost their jobs and livelihood; over a million people lost their lives. All of a sudden, everything came to a standstill. Almost everyone has a sad story or other to narrate. However, by looking at the pandemic only negatively, we won’t be able to move forward.
Different countries have discovered different vaccines like- ‘Sputnik v vaccine, Pfizer vaccine, Astrazeneca vaccine, Bharat Biotech’s covaxin,’ etc. Although these vaccines have more or less effect in human body but each individual is now full of hope and courage to face this virus.
Do you remember The Holy Father Pope Francis had requested everyone to say this prayer, “I am vaccinated by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, no virus can touch me”. This prayer may not be only for the covid-19, but if we think deeply, it is the vaccine for both physical and spiritual viruses which harm us in our day today life. This pandemic has taught us many lessons therefore humans have learnt to thank God for His creation and for all his creatures.
But in today’s world there are more deadly viruses than covid-19. They are hate, prejudice, jealousy, pride, selfishness and we can easily get infected by them if precaution is not taken. These viruses kill the person from within and thus a person is fully dead spiritually which also affects him/her physically. God the Father wants each child of His to live a life fully alive. Therefore He sent His only son as ransom for his people. Jesus our Lord and Master who is the greatest physician had given us the vaccine for all these viruses somewhat 2000 years ago. He dropped each drop of His precious blood for the salvation of humankind. This vaccine is full of love, joy, happiness and forgiveness. Above all this vaccine gives us a grateful heart and gratitude helps us to see things through God’s own eye.
When we are grateful we accept each person as the child of God and we live in perfect harmony. Covaxin has got some side effects but the vaccine which Jesus gives us has no side effects rather it is 100% proved to be safe and effective. Let us hope that all may come to know about this life giving vaccine and by receiving it we may live a life worthy of God.
