In collaboration with Rural Development Trust (RDT), the sisters of St Joseph at Bathalapalli engaged in caring for HIV patients. These patients live in 65 different areas. They are on constant medication and due to lockdown, they could not approach the center to collect the medicines. Sisters along with RDT staff, decided to pack each patient's medicine as per the prescription and made arrangements to reach them to their homes.
Sisters and staff in their free time engaged in stitching masks. Their target was to stick one lakh masks and distribute them to the patients and people around.
Right now. Sr. Sangeeta and the other RDT staff is engaged in serving corona Patients at Anantapur District Hospital.
