Srs. Harshita, Promila, and Rachna, along with Nav Ankur Staff and local volunteers, went around Ashta village, providing care packages to the migrant shepherds from Rajasthan, rag pickers, daily wage labourers, and slum dwellers. They also conducted an awareness programme on the seriousness of COVID – 19, and the methods to prevent it.
Initially, it was difficult to obtain the necessary permissions from government officials. Seeing the hungry and the poor, the sisters went ahead with distributing food packages. Slowly police department and other local leaders came forward and are now helping in caring for the suffering people in and around Ashta.
