Listening to the cries and woes of our migrant people here in Saligao, Goa, due to the lockdown, our hearts moved to reach out to them, and alleviate their pain of their cries, “we have no food to eat and to care for our families”
Our Sisters visited and met some of the families in greatest need, and we purchased some food items and distributed to the most families need.
Besides, we, Sisters Vasantha and myself, responded to the call from an NGO Sharada Kerkar and her team, to do voluntary service in distributing food grains, and to find out families in need. We collected and are still collecting names, and working along with the NGO to reach out and help them, inspite of the lockdown and restrictions.
